Welcome to SORT 2017 - 1st Edition

SORT 2017 - 1st Edition in association with ATEES Industrial Training (AIT), is the first ever state-level online competitive exam to be conducted through a mobile app. SORT focuses on making students fit for the modern competitive world through encouragement, appreciation and rewards. Our vision is to set high standards for the emerging workforce through systematic assessment of core strengths and skill sets that decide success in any career.

The exam will be of 90 minutes duration with 100 multiple-choice questions carrying one mark each and 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. The paper will have four sections GK & Current Affairs, Quantitative Aptitude, Verbal Skills and Reasoning Ability, each containing 25 questions.

Student Registration Procedure

Online Student Registration

  • Colleges need to get and submit a registration fee of Rs.200 per student within the next 5 days of college registration.
  • The students must enter the College Login ID in the AIT app to start the registration process for SORT 2017 - 1st Edition examination.
  • The students will be redirected to a registration form which they have to fill carefully for registering with the SORT 2017 - 1st Edition examination.
  • After registration, students can avail the premium features of AIT app from 1st January 2018 onwards.
  • The students can use their registered mobile number & mobile phone to login to the AIT app to participate in the Trial/ Model/ Final exams.

Offline Student Registration

  • Colleges must get the student registration forms from the SORT team.
  • Colleges must collect and submit the filled student registration forms with a registration fee of Rs.200 per student within 5 days of college registration.
  • The students can directly login for SORT 2017 - 1st Edition examination with the mobile number they provided in the offline registration form.
  • Upon registration of SORT 2017 - 1st Edition examination registration, students can avail AIT app's premium features from 1st January 2018 onwards.
  • The students have to use their registered mobile number and mobile device to login to the AIT app for participating in the Trial/Model/Final exams.
AIT App Features

AIT app (Android + iOS) is developed focusing on students and their academic needs, to help them achieve better employment opportunities. Students registered with SORT 2017 - 1st Edition will receive unrestricted access to premium AIT app features until course completion from 1st January 2018 onwards.     Terms & Conditions
  • The information provided by students during the registration process must be accurate and cannot be changed after registration completion. If found incorrect, they will not be eligible for the cash awards.
  • The registration fees once paid, is not refundable or adjustable under any circumstances in the future.
  • Students can participate in the SORT 2017 - 1st Edition examination only with their registered mobile device and mobile number.
  • In case of any issues with the registered mobile number/mobile device, the students must notify the same to us at least 2 weeks before the SORT 2017 - 1st Edition examination, failing which they’ll be disqualified from the exam.
  • In case there is a tie in scores, the rank will be allotted based on the rules defined by AIT.
  • If eligible for cash award, the student must produce valid ID proof and registration form to receive the prize.
  • All required permissions must be accepted until exam completion. Denied/Unaccepted permissions may lead to issues for which AIT will not, in any case, be responsible and will lead to disqualification from the exam..
  • During the exam, students will be strictly monitored by mobile audio recording and image capturing. We assure that the data collected will only be used for SORT exam evaluation purpose.
  • AIT will not concern with any issues (closing exam window, calls during exam time, empty battery, inept internet connectivity, etc.) that arise during the exam due to the student’s failure to comply with our instructions and rules.
  • Students are strictly prohibited from any act of malpractice to enhance their performance. If found, the student shall be disqualified from SORT 2017 - 1st Edition and all future exams of SORT.
  • All exams must be attended in a quiet atmosphere. If found, noise disturbances will lead to disqualification.
  • A student must be alone while attending the exam. They’re not allowed to have direct or indirect help from anyone. Help from any digital media/persons will lead to disqualification.
  • The competition may be declared void at the sole discretion of AIT. Furthermore, AIT has the right to cancel this competition at any stage, or change any of the rules and procedures, if deemed necessary in its opinion or if circumstances arise outside of it’s control.
  • You will be deemed to have accepted these rules and agree to be bound by them when entering this competition.
    Exam Instructions
  • After student registration, you must login to the AIT App with your corresponding mobile number as given at the time of registration.
  • You can participate in the SORT 2017 - 1st Edition examination only with your registered mobile device and mobile number.
  • In case of any issues with the registered mobile number/mobile device, you must notify the same to us at least 2 weeks before the SORT 2017 - 1st Edition examination, failing which you’ll not be able to attend the examination.
  • During the exams, you will be strictly monitored by mobile audio recording and image capturing. We assure that the recordings collected will only be used for SORT exam evaluation purpose.
  • You are strictly prohibited from any act of malpractice to enhance your performance. If found, will lead to disqualification from SORT 2017 - 1st Edition and all future exams of SORT.
  • You must keep your mobile device fully charged at least an hour before the examinations start.
  • You can attend the trial/model/final exams online through the AIT App only and you must ensure proper internet connectivity in your registered mobile device.
  • During the exam, do not close or move out of the exam window for any reason whatsoever (calls, messages, empty battery, etc.) since the exam will not pause and will continue until timeout.
  • All examinations including trial exams, model exams and the final SORT 2017 - 1st Edition exam, will have 100 multiple-choice questions and will be of 90 minutes duration.
  • There will be cool-off time of 15 minutes provided for each exam, you must read all exam instructions during the cool-off time provided.
  • Each question will have a time limit of 54 seconds to answer, if not answered within 54 seconds, you’ll be automatically taken to the next question.
  • At any stage, you cannot go back to a previous question; make sure you carefully answer each question.
  • If you select an answer and the time allotted for that question runs out, the answer you selected will be considered as answered.
  • You must click the submit button and provide your exam feedback for the exam to be considered for assessment by AIT.
